Client-Side Privacy Notice

Core Privacy Architecture: The online SBAR builder on SBARTemplate.com executes entirely within your client web browser. No form entries, patient initials, vital signs, or text notes are ever transmitted to or stored on any server or database.

1. No Collection of Protected Health Information (PHI)

SBARTemplate.com is intentionally architected to avoid collecting, receiving, or storing any personal health data or Protected Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) or GDPR. When you use the interactive builder or download formats, all state processing is stored solely in your local browser's volatile memory.

2. Recommended User Conduct (PHI Warning)

Although all processing is client-side, we remind all healthcare practitioners, nurses, and students to never enter real patient-identifying information (such as full legal names, real social security numbers, real medical record numbers, or identifying dates of birth) into public online tools. Always use fictional placeholders (e.g. "Patient A.B.", "Room 302") unless using your hospital's internal, approved communication systems.

3. Log Files & Web Analytics

Like standard web servers, anonymous server logs may record basic HTTP request metadata (such as browser user-agent, operating system, and IP address) for security monitoring and DDOS mitigation. This data is not linked to any user-generated template content.
